Charity Partner 2027

The City Veterans are to announce that Combat Stress will be City Veterans' military charity partner for 2027.

Combat Stress supports veterans experiencing complex mental health challenges, providing specialist treatment and support to help former service personnel recover from trauma, PTSD and service-related depression. Founded in 1919 in the aftermath of the First World War, the charity has supported generations of veterans and continues to provide evidence-based clinical care, residential programmes and a dedicated 24/7 helpline.

Our first event in support of Combat Stress will be our annual carol service. We will be joined by General Dame Sharon Nesmith, our Senior MOD Sponsor, and Katie Shanahan, our first Ambassador, who will be reading lessons.
