Forces Employment Charity
On Monday, 22nd September, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) will host a ‘Marketplace Connect' event in collaboration with the Forces Employment Charity. This will be an in-person event at LSEG’s headquarters in Paternoster Square, London, for up to 100 delegates. The day will provide opportunities for banks and firms to showcase their business models and employer offers, giving delegates a better understanding of the different areas within the financial services and the chance to directly engage with employers in the marketplace.
The purpose of this event is to offer delegates an understanding of the different types of banks/firms and roles generally suitable for Service leavers, veterans, and military spouses. The sector continues to be popular for veterans. Some of the most frequently asked questions include ‘What is the difference between each of the banks and firms?’, ‘What are the timelines for the different programme applications?’ and ‘What roles/areas would I be well suited to?’
The event will offer delegates an opportunity to identify employers they’re interested in and to directly engage with representatives from the firms during a networking session.
